About Legacy Letters

A Gift From Beyond – Words That Last a Lifetime

Legacy Letters was born from a deeply personal moment of heartbreak and reflection.

I was only 25 when I lost my mum. Three years later, I stood with my sister on her wedding day. As I arrived at the house before she left for the ceremony, she was in tears. She was completely distraught – not because of nerves or stress – but because our mum couldn't be there. In that moment, all I could think was, “I wish I’d asked Mum to write her a card. Something to hold, something to feel her presence.”

We knew Mum was going to pass. We had time. But it didn’t occur to me until it was too late. That moment never left me.

Afterwards, I began leaving little notes and keepsakes for my own children – tucking them into boxes, writing messages to open one day. I wanted to make sure that if something ever happened to me, they’d still have my words, my thoughts, my love. And that's where the idea for Legacy Letters came from.

Now, we help others do the same.

Legacy Letters lets you write meaningful cards and letters for your loved ones to receive on future birthdays, weddings, graduations – or simply when they need you most. Your messages are stored safely, and our trusted Guardian System ensures they'll always be delivered, no matter what.

We offer elegant stationery, personalised keepsake options, and full support so you can leave something truly lasting. You don’t have to be a writer. You just have to care.

Because some words are meant to last forever.

What Is A Legacy Letter ?

A Legacy Letter is a personal, heartfelt message written today — and delivered to someone you love at a future moment that truly matters.

Whether it’s a letter for your child’s 18th birthday, a note to be opened on their wedding day, or words of wisdom for life’s turning points, a Legacy Letter allows you to be present — even when you can’t be.

You write it. We protect it. And we make sure it reaches them — no matter when that is.
